Mitigating Critical Energy Infrastructure and Assessing Interdependencies

Since 2023, Oregon DEQ has been regulating for seismic resilience in Oregon's largest bulk fuel terminals, including the Critical Energy Infrastructure Hub in Multnomah County. Luke Hanst will share an overview of the program (annual report) and updates on facility Seismic Vulnerability Assessments and Risk Mitigation Implementation Plans. Then, Luke will summarize "outside-the-fence" mitigation needs identified by a PSUreport from last year that explores the seismic readiness of public infrastructure and emergency response capabilities for oil spills and petrochemical fires
