Webinar Abstract:

This webinar will introduce an AI-driven GIS tool designed to analyze and visualize landslide-induced infrastructure disruptions in the Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) being developed as a CLiP project. The tool integrates artificial intelligence with geospatial technologies to assess impacts on critical lifelines such as roads, water, electricity, and telecommunications, helping utility providers and emergency planners anticipate vulnerabilities and plan for continuity of services. By incorporating diverse datasets—including hazard maps and the O-Help platform—into an interactive platform, the system enhances decision-making and complements existing tools such as the Pipeline Damage Estimation Tool. This initiative directly supports resilience planning in the CSZ by strengthening community preparedness and response to cascading hazards.
